Small Mall Haul

Hey there <3~

So as promised, I did mention yesterday that I'd show off some of the stuff that I got today.  And I just need to re-emphasise the word "small" in regards to the amount of purchases.  It would have more but alas, this is Canada and the Victoria's Secret here does not sell body sprays or as many swim suits as I wanted, *Tear*.  The lady in the store looked like she felt bad for me too, and gave me a very "You should have stayed in America"-smirk.  Don't get me wrong, I love it here (minus winter) but it's U.S. based counterparts need to be a little more generous in their shipping of certain stock, meh.  Maybe there's some product regulations I'm unaware of? But I got over it and basically cut my shopping in half, so I will feature some of the items I got today. (WARNING: I have a very bad camera and will be looking into getting a better one soon so please hang tight.)

     Starting with.....
My first-time-in-my-entire-life visit to Sephora.  I heard about the Escada line of perfumes recently in a YouTube video, the creator claimed that it would change my life, and I have to say I think it has.  I honestly don't think I will ever go back to another perfume.  Not that I ever really had a signature scent to begin with, so this is a great start.  The full name of this line is Escada: Born in Paradise (hahaha, reminds me of myself). Its fruity, feminine, and tropical and makes you think of everything that relates to the beach, and the sunshine on your skin.  Love it.  The bigger bottle was a bit of a stretch on my budget, and since I didn't want to commit to something I might have possibly hated, I went with the mini.  It cost $25.50, in-store, and its a limited edition.  I was extremely happy after testing it out.  Definitely a great summer scent and because of the very light muskiness to it, it apparently will work really well into the Fall season (according the sale's rep who helped me out).

Next on the list were some more clothing items but here are two my favourites from today.  First, is a dress I got from Forever XXI.  It definitely was NOT on the list of things to get today, since I was on a mad hunt for a cute tribal printed romper. Just imagine me on all fours galloping through the mall like a wild boar and grunting at people.   However, in my pit of frustration I came across this cute, sexy little thang. $11.80, and the last one in my size.  I was never into body-con dresses, in any way because I used to be VERY self conscious of my butt and thighs.  But there's nothing some very heavy squats and dead-lifts can't fix ;).  I thought this dress was fun, and bright and looked like a blueberry salad exploded on me.  It's really really cute, fits in all the right places and should look amazing with palm trees behind me.  I'm planning to wear this to an upcoming party this weekend, and I hope I'm not starting to sound petty and froo-froo >.<

After this buy I went to Target and saw these babies: A very soft cotton short, with a tribal-like design on it.  It made up for my romper-lacking sadness.  These were on sale, around $9, compared to being $20 before so I thought that was amazing.  I'm really excited to wear these.  They're high waisted as well, so they make your legs look really long and lean and hit right at the smallest part of your waist for a really nice clean shape. Other than that I didn't see too much more in their clothing department because it looks likes everyone goes cray-cray when nice things are
brought in and I'm somehow never there for it.  I crawl in when the rampage is over and look through the scraps until I get lucky, like a really sad, violent movie.

Can't go on a summer vacation without looking into nice sandals you can rock with anything! (ugh, I sound like a fashion magazine now -__-).  Still in Target and  I saw these from literally 15ft away and said "I must have those", out loud.  I'm sure a few people looked at me like I was strange.  These are so comfortable and I couldn't believe they were only $8.50.  That was the sale price, originally these were like $35, so yay me! And if anyone here has issues with feet, I'm really sorry, but these look better when worn, and they look really nice with my purple piggies!

That concludes my product reviews for today, I hope you enjoyed it and got some inspiration...(GO BUY THAT ESCADA PERFUME ITS SO GREAT!)

~Lots of Love <3
