Lifestyle and Last night's Dream

Hola!~

Okay, so now that the introductions are out of the way, let's get into discussion about my lifestyle.  Nowadays there are so many different categories of people when it comes to eating habits that it can get confusing and annoying tbh.  Unfortunately I'm a contradiction myself in that I do fit into a specific category of veganism so here we go.  I am what you would call someone who is on a High Carb Raw Vegan lifestyle, or HCRV for short.  I have been living meat free for over 5 years now, and went fully vegan just about 3 and a half months ago because I was still eating seafood at the time (that's a story i'll touch on at another time).
      So, what is a HCRV?
It's basically someone who eats all raw all day, everyday in every way possible. It's simplifying one's diet to only eating foods that don't need to be cooked in order to taste good. A lifestyle abundant in fruits, vegetables, natural sources of carbohydrates and the occasional cooked high carb meal, such as pasta, potatoes, rice, or any other grain.  Some Raw vegans tend to stay away from grains but, whatever, I'm not picky and there's nothing wrong with grains.  So for the first month I was totally raw, no cooked food.  But with some tweaking, because everyone's needs are different, and since I work out a lot, I needed and craved those cooked starches and plant proteins.  And to be honest, raw broccoli and cauliflower was just gross :P, cant even imagine not cooking my tofu, egh.  Since this drastic change, I eat way more, my skin got back it's glow, I put on some healthy weight, my blood levels are just right and my energy has shot through the roof (unless I'm genuinely exhausted).  I always feel light and ready to go.  It's the best thing I've ever done for myself knowing that I'm getting healthier and healing the planet all in one.
yummmeeehhhh!!!
In a typical day, I take in just under 3000 calories, sometimes more if I've been really active, but on a sedentary day where I just sit around and work on my computer, it's somewhere around 2700.  It's a lot more than what I've ever consumed in my life.  My staple and one of my favourite fruits is the holy, heavenly banana.  I think my backdrop gave it away :P.  Next to that my other largely consumed favourites are mangoes, all variety of melons, coconut, potatoes, dragon fruits and papaya.
I've never done blogging before so if anyone has advice on how I should better approach this please comment below I'd love to hear from you!
Eat all the things!
Veganism isn't just a way of eating or something temporary or a "diet".  It is a lifestyle that takes over everything you do.  This includes the products you buy and the activities you take part in, just like any other lifestyle type. So part of the purpose of my blog is to promote this lifestyle and hopefully inspire some of you to take up some of its aspects on your own (if you're not ready yet to take the plunge ;) ).  I am here to help and inspire with love and care and without force and intimidation.  I also plan on covering some great eco-friendly bath and body care, and make-up products that I use myself so you can be a clean, green, beautiful and vibrant machine.
Now that there is an understanding of my deep love of fruit, I can tell you about the amazing dream I had last night....or at some point in the very early part of the morning.
I was on a white, sandy beach.  The water was bright turquoise and the breeze was hot and welcoming.  I come over a small hill of sand to find the most beautiful tree ever,  It was a gargantuan coconut tree.  But this was no ordinary coconut tree.  Aside from coconuts, also hanging from the leaves, somehow, were huge banana bunches, like chandeliers.  And growing out of the bottom of those, were pineapples!  Talk about the perfect tree in the perfect environment.  I woke up this morning, so hungry.
You ever have a foodtastic dream? Leave in the comments below! (and don't worry it doesn't have to be vegan, lol)
