Pushing Further and what I Do

Afternoon Lovelys!
so sweet and delicious
I woke up so early this morning to get to the gym and now I have a feeling of unregretful-regret, if that even makes sense.  It was great to get up and work out, but damn it was so early.  Got home and did some cleaning and put together my breakfast, shown on the right. While I was working out it dawned on me what I should write about today; What drives you? What do you use to get you to give a little more each day than you gave the day before?  Some people use a mantra, a word, a photograph or something else to remind them of what they really want.  In everything that you do,
especially something that really tests your mental or physical capacities it should be done to YOUR best and not the best of others.  Use whatever you can to reach your personal best and put expectations of the world, your friends and even your family behind you, because at the end of the day, YOU is all that matters.  I know that things like this have been basically milked on the net and over said, but it doesn't seem like a lot of people quite get the idea yet.  When I'm tired (or my mind tells me that I am) and struggling to reach the finish line I set for myself on a run, or a bike ride that's started to get too many uphills, an emotional struggle, or inner conflict, or even when I'm working on a model that has really tested my technical knowledge vs. my artistic abilities, I just repeat over and over "It's all worth it...It's all worth it....It's all worth it....".  Its gives me just that last bit of edge that I need to get the job done.
   You are worth it

My blog does not only include posts about healthy living, I also have a lot planned to show off some of the 3D work I've been doing.  In the tabs above I have my "website" linked to the tab of the same name.  It goes straight to my portfolio, which I will be updating later tonight, so go ahead and check it out :).  For those of you who don't know or fully understand, I use 3D software to create characters, and other models in an infinite 3D space to potentially be animated and interact to either tell a story or for someone to make a story of their own in a game, which is my goal.  Although I have worked on a small game already, I didn't get to make any characters.  It was a great first stepping-stone but it wasn't as fulfilling to my ultimate purpose, which is to be a full-time Character Artist.  To set my plan into further motion I took the advice of best friend, whom I visited over the weekend, and joined a freelancing website called "oDesk".  I set up my profile last night and all of a sudden got so nervous about going public with it.  I think I have a fear of disciplining myself to work remotely under my own supervision....while being in contact with very serious people.  Today I want to complete my profile and update my resume and start searching for contracts within my current abilities.  Wish me luck!

~*~Ill be going to Jamaica for a small vacation this weekend until August 10th, so I'll be posting for sure and keeping here up to date with photos, tropical food, beach fitness and a look into where I came from~*~

Cheers <3
