7 Smoothies for 7 Days

Afternoon Lovelys <3
In this post I'll give you 7 smoothies that I use for breakfast or lunch through out the week.  They are interchangeable.  Meaning you don't HAVE to have a certain one during a certain time of the day or anything.  These are fun and ultra-tasty smoothies you can make anytime.  I just tend to prefer them in the morning, either before or after I work out for a extra kick of energy.  Also, because they are all fruit/veg. it is good for the morning time to wake up your digestive system in a sweet and gentle way, instead of other normal breakfast fair that either needs to be fried, sauteed in oil or has unnecessary fats and artificial sugars.  Don't shy away from fruit because of the "sugar".  This is the sweet candy of the Earth, put here to sustain us with all the water, vitamins and minerals that we need to live a healthful and vibrant life.  Have you ever noticed how some fruits only grow at certain times of the year?  That's because Mother Nature knows which vitamins are essential during different seasons to ensure that we stay in good health all year round. The natural sugars and carbohydrates in fruits and vegetables are vital to our bodies and the cells that keep everything flowing as it should.  Enjoy the recipes below as many times as you like.  I recommend having a good quality blender or hand blender for these smoothies as you will want them as smooth as possible.  Overly chunky smoothies can be unappetizing, unless you like it that way.

(1).Green Good Morning:
2 handfuls of Spinach
5 bananas
1 handful parsley
1 tsp. natural vanilla extract
Desired amount of coconut water (depending on how thick you want it)

(Blend the spinach and parsley in a bit of cold water first so the smoothie won't have unblended leaves in it.  This goes for all my other recipes that include greens or leafy herbs)

(2)Creamy Dreamy Banana Milk:
3 frozen bananas
3 unfrozen bananas
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup. Coconut water
1 cup water

(3).No-Chocolate, Chocolate Shake:
4 frozen bananas
1 unfrozen banana
3 Tbsp. Mint leaves
1 tsp. natural vanilla extract
8-10 medjool dates (pitted and chopped)
Desired amount of cold water

(Blend the dates first in some water until it is smooth and frothy.  The dates is what gives this smoothie the illusion of a chocolaty taste, so you don't want any chunks)

(4). Breakfast Pina Colada:
5 frozen bananas
1.5 cups frozen pineapple
2 Tbsp. mint leaves
1.5 cups coconut water
1 cup Almond Dream Coconut Milk

(5). Blueberry Protein Shake:
2 Tbsp. raw hemp seeds
2 cups frozen blueberries
3 frozen bananas
1/2 an avocado
1 scoop Vega Vanilla Protein shake (optional)/ you can also use Almond Milk
1.5 cups coconut water
Add cold water if too thick

(6). Dessert for Breakfast:
5 frozen bananas
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen blackberries
1/2 cup Grace Coconut Milk
1.5 cups cold water
1 Tbsp. coconut sugar
2 tsp. natural vanilla extract

(7). Bubblegum Smoothie:
2 handfuls Spinach
1 Tbsp. raw hemp seeds
1.5 cups frozen mango
2 bananas
1 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
Desired amount of water

(This one should actually taste like bubblegum, especially if it's done nice and thick.)

Hope you enjoy these recipes! Share with your friends and amaze them at how "bland and boring" eating vegan can be ;)
